October 2006 edition
This month’s mix features songs from the pre-show, intermission and curtain call of the play, Stillborn, for which I did sound design opened Oct 4 at Hyde Park Theatre (link).

stillborn, final mix
- Bad Company – Hey, Hey
- Radiohead – Treefingers
- Blondie – Hanging on the Telephone
- Billie Holiday – These Foolish Things (Remind Me Of You)
- Modest Mouse – Doin’ The Cockroach
- Fleetwood Mac – You Make Loving Fun
- John Lennon – Cold Turkey
- A Silver Mt. Zion – Stumble Then Rise On Some Awkward Morning
- Rachel’s – NY Snow Globe
- Mogwai – Dial: Revenge
- Wilco – Ashes of American Flags
- Creedence Clearwater Revival – Hey Tonight
- The Twilight Singers – Follow You Down
- Queens of the Stone Age – Medication
- The Frames – Locusts
- The Velvet Underground – I’ll Be Your Mirror
- Dinah Washington – Teach Me Tonight
- Broken Social Scene – Finish Your Collapse and Stay For Breakfast
- Elvis Costello & The Attractions – Big Sister
Everything from Bad Company to Radiohead to Rachel’s to Credence Clearwater Revival to Twilight Singers to John Lennon. I’d wanted to incorporate Stevie Wonder in the soundscape somewhere — I felt like Meredith and Clay needed a love song — and it just didn’t work out. One of my favorite parts of the show is the presence of Godspeed You Black Emperor and Silver Mt Zion. I also enjoy having Elvis Costello in the post-show music.
