In our experience, we find it infinitely more effective to set our sights on what you need rather than what we can sell you. Sometimes, a reposition is what you need and not a full redesign. It’s about what you need, remember. At scw creative, we’re creatives first, true, but we find our best results using our strategist’s thinking cap.
In the end, this holistic approach is a more complete one, lowering costs and, to some extent, futureproofing our work together. Coming at it from this angle, it becomes about working smarter and results in a better product and a stronger relationship.
Branding & Identity
Though our projects morph into a wide variety of electronic and printed forms, most often the process begins with branding. We work with you to define how your organization should be perceived, then help you establish the brand through naming, logo design and marketing strategies appropriate to your audience. Building a solid brand is a great way to begin a project and sets the tone for all of the design work to follow.
Interactive Design
We specialize in creating dynamic interactive sites, optimized for speed and search engine visibility. In the design process, we will develop a look and feel that is consistent with your brand and appropriate for audience, with a focus on usability and ease of use. Fundamentally, we want users to get what they want as quickly as possible, without any frustration. We believe that a good site is a site with current content, which is why we build all of our sites in a way which allows you to update easily, through an integrated content management system (CMS).
Print Design
More and more information is available electronically, that’s true, but print is still necessary — think materials such as posters, stationary packages and annual reports. We are always excited by the rewards of print but we have concerns about the way we treat our planet and so we’re up to speed on the ins and outs of green printing considerations like FSC certification and paper produced with alternative energy sources. With print, as on the web, we believe in functional and clear information design; creating the best experience possible.
