iPad interface design for FRONTLINE

Rebecca Muñiz
Interactive design for Rebecca Muñiz, a soprano opera singer who also performs as a wedding vocalist. Particular attention with this project was paid to keeping the content clear, integrating the site with print collateral being simultaneously developed, broad browser accessibility and ease of use. Site features include audio samples, testimonials (displayed randomly), a photo gallery, blog and contact form. Wireframing, page sketches and the WordPress framework were significant in the on-time completion.
FRONTLINE
A major redesign of the website for FRONTLINE website, produced at WGBH in Boston, Mass. The goal: to update the aesthetics of the site, bringing in social media elements and engage audiences with the interface in a compelling and familiar way.
Careful attention was paid to:
- colors
- homepage
- view page
- topic pages
- photo galleries
- icons
Best practices and user focus groups in three different markets were utilized to develop the above treatments and pages. Wireframing, user flows, heuristic analysis, site usage data analysis and detailed functional specifications were instrumental in the completion of this project.

Magazine advertisement for Revelation Fitness, a company based in Austin, Texas whose goal is physique transformation.
Interactive design for “Post Mortem”
Interactive design for “Post Mortem,” a PBS FRONTLINE program. A joint partnership with ProPublica, NPR, the Investigative Reporting Program at UC Berkeley and California Watch.
At its core is the video for the program but also special care was needed for the interactive map and other web features. Like all FRONTLINE sites, this design needed to be accessible in IE 6+, Mozilla, webkit and mobile Safari.
As of June 2011, there have been over 90,000 unique page views.
Graphic design for “Post Mortem”
Title treatment for “Post Mortem,” a PBS FRONTLINE program. This treatment was used on the website in several places and on the DVD packaging.
KJT web design
Interactive design for the KJT, Catholic Union of Texas, a non-profit fraternal benefit society organized and founded in 1889. Work on this project included initial sitemaps, wireframing, persona mapping, mockup, CSS and implementation in a bespoke CMS environment.
