pda/Stockholm Syndrome collateral

2009 pda/Stockholm Syndrome promo cards

Postcard front and back for a semi-annual night of music at Elysium.

Stockholm Syndrome is a night of Swedish music and so I enjoyed making that side in the colors of Sweden using the backdrop of legal paper. Scribbling followed — naturally — and the heart candies seemed like the perfect finishing touch. Almost cute.

The blueprint was an esoteric way to explain what kind of music to expect, this kind of electronic rock — like M.I.A., Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem, Le Tigre. I can only hope that Pulp’s “Common People” makes an appearance because I think that brings the dance like nothing else, and I say that as someone who has a very high dance tolerance.

For Stockholm Syndrome, the title font is FG Starlet. For pda, the body font was Flux Architect and the title font was Oil (created by Typo5).

Austin Center of Photography logo

Austin Center of Photography logo

Two logo comps proposed for Austin Center of Photography in which I incorporated the initials into the SLR camera body. The font is Gotham Light — such a great font, so unassuming, so to-the-point, no wonder the Obama brand uses it so much.

Small World Labs sales sheets

Small World Labs sales sheets
Small World Labs, a company that provides social networking solutions to businesses and organizations, wanted to develop leave-behind sheets for sales calls that detailed the totality of their services. And so together we created two systems — one of general information and one specific to a dozen different kinds of possible communities. The image taxonomy — the school of fish photo deemed the most apropos — was developed collaboratively. Counting the fronts, the package numbers 16 pages total.

Futura was used as the title font and the body font is Minion Pro.
