Logo and stationary design for Orenda, a recreational water treatment business based out of Dallas and Phoenix. They create and distribute non-toxic and non-hazardous additives that prevent algae growth and staining without harsh algaecides and toxic alternatives.

KW Cares stationary

Two-sided business cards created for Keller William’s Realty non-profit arm, KW Cares. This was part of a complete stationary kit for the group — including letterhead, envelopes and thank you cards.

I was hoping that the cross version of the card would be used, a leading contender for a while but no dice in the end.

As KW Cares is a charity whose mission it is to help people in need, I thought that the use of white space to indicate a cross was powerful and iconic. But like I said before, it didn’t pass the muster.

Gill Sans is the font used on both of these cards (standard for most of Keller Williams materials).

ASW 10-minute festival (2008)

2008 Austin Script Works Out of Ink

I set out for the 2008 play festival collateral to use Futura as the copy font, for its simple geometric forms, for its clarity, for its optimism. This then set the tone for the icons and the layout.

Every year, the plays written and chosen have to follow three rules — this year, they were:

  • A character with a secret they are trying to hide
  • A piece of music, some of which may have been forgotten
  • A radical physical transformation (be it of person, place or thing.)
