ten gallon hat designs

img00035-tghdcard

Web site for Ten Gallon Hat designs (custom furniture, wooden accessories and other artisan work) built in WordPress for ease of client maintenance. Includes a jQuery-based sliding panel for image display and organization.

Along with the logo and the bulk of the site’s photography, the web site was built with the end experience in mind. Like Jonathan’s artistic statement, “… Organic forms that combine aesthetic and comfort, while unconventional construction and raw beauty of materials present a true sense of freedom.”

Identity and business card design for Ten Gallon Hat Designs. These cards are foil printed on thin sheets of oak and then cut into 3.5″ by 1.5″ cards by Cards of Wood in Michigan.

The outlines were done by a previous designer and we cleaned them up. The font on the logo and on the cards is Eurostile.

Eurosoft

Eurosoft

Eurosoft came to us and wanted to build a new version of their web site, to coincide with their restructure as a company that transforms paper processes into digital (they were previously an IT and professional staffing company that did technical consulting in this arena, Stark Holdings now handles all the staffing aspects). The project managers wanted the marketing department to be able to easily maintain the web site content and this WordPress mockup was born.

Ultimately, this custom built theme would’ve incorporated their Twitter feed, Facebook updates as well as results from their shared Google Reader feed. This project is currently tabled.

Navasota/Montgomery web

Navasota/Montgomery web designs

Initial mockup of redesign for Navasota/Montgomery web designs, where the focus was on the subtle integration of green inspired elements to convey the nature of natural gas and wind power production. In creating the site, we wanted to ensure that navigation was simple and well integrated into the layout of the site. A natural color scheme (blue, green, orange, brown) was used as a strong asset to elicit the emotional response of a consumer.

Special attention has been placed on the prominence of gradients, rounded elements, white space and type design you find in Web 2.0 trends.
